Taylor began her YouTube career by recording ASMR videos with her mobile phone. PewDiePie utilized her video for one of his games shortly after Taylor reached 50,000 followers around 1 1/2 months since the first video she uploaded. Taylor quit making videos around 2 months when she was able to count around 100 000 followers. Taylor put all of her videos on YouTube to avoid technical difficulties with the new equipment. In August 2022 after having a hiatus of few months, Taylor began making videos like the ASMR 10 triggers for sleep (35 million views). ASMR 20, Triggers for Sleeping was released in July of 2017 and has since been seen by 38 million viewers. In August of 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and her audience grew to 1 million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February 2019, she made 1,000 dollars per day by advertisements on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer is a Canadian farmer, as well as Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman, were her parents. Her heritage includes German, English. Swedish and Norwegian. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler in Alberta. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her on the grain farm.
